After much anticipation, Rapture has officially commenced operations! With the inaugural event FREQUENCY, new chronicle in of the realms of Toronto Trance is being written!
Rapture is a company by Trance lovers, for Trance lovers. We have banded together under the love of music with one clear mission: to bring Toronto the very best in Trance! Frequency is to be an all encompassing and unforgettable event, featuring the Toronto debuts of two powerhouse Trance acts that the city has been begging for. From this point where we cast off, we promise that the name Rapture is synonymous with excitement!

At the age of 25, Sam Jones is already one of the most in-demand new talents in Trance, with releases on Kearnage Recordings, Damaged Records, Mental Asylum, Black Hole, Armada and more. Sam has also seen many plays on Armin van Buuren’s 'A State Of Trance’ radio show, and support from big names like Ferry Corsten, Aly&Fila, John O’Callaghan, Simon Patterson, Eddie Halliwell, Jordan Suckley, Bryan Kearney, Sneijder and many more.
Sam is a no less than a Trance virtuoso. Prior to his musical production, his foray into Trance was through his mastery of the technical side of DJing. To this day his prowess is nearly unmatched when he is behind 3 decks: with flawless mixing, cutting, live editing and scratching, he is one of the most exciting DJs in the scene today. To this point, at age 17 Sam was picked up by none other than the legendary Inside Out at The Arches by Scottish hero Simon Foy. This was only the beginning, as since then Sam has played in Sweden, Australia, Argentina, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Poland as well as Ireland + UK for major club brands. Most recently in 2017 played Luminosity Beach Festival in Holland. Sam saw his United States club debut in California right after his annoucement for Dreamstate SoCal in November. He is excited to make his Canadian debut, and Rapture is honoured and humbled to have him!

With great pleasure and excitement Rapture is welcoming Paul Dention to Frequency for his North American debut!
Paul is the fresh new face of Trance, and is breathing new life into the scene, both in his native Ireland and throughout the world! His resume is one to be reckoned with, as his music has graced some of the most renowned Trance labels, such as Subculture, Kearnage, FSOE, Outburst, Grotesque, In Trance We Trust, and Afterdark. With tracks such as ‘Say My Name’, 'Final Sunset', and his remix of the classic ‘Electronic Malfunction’ by Ton TB, he has wowed both fans and DJs alike - finding himself with a total of 7 songs in the Beatport Top 10 in the last 12 months, and his latest track "Afterglow" holding the number one spot in January. Despite this overwhelming success, he stays humble as he continues to electrify audiences with both his flare as a producer and his skill as a DJ. He has been lauded by the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fila, John O’Callaghan, John Askew, all who have included his work in their mixes. His touring portfolio is equally as impressive, having performed at premiere events such as Luminosity, ADE Amsterdam In Trance We Trust, Quest 4 Trance and Kearnage Trance Sanctuary.
